Therapy with Annie
Annie’s comprehensive approach beautifully blends her medical background with holistic health expertise. With 10 years of nursing experience, Annie possesses a deep understanding of the intricate workings of the physical body and the profound impact of the mind-body-spiritual connections on overall well-being. Annie is fueled by helping women heal themselves through the portal of their body and womb to remembrance and liberation.
Influences
Hands-on, hands-in abdominal and pelvic care including a blend of modalities such as, Rolfing fascial techniques, Traditional Mexican Medicine, and vulva/vaginal work. This is a co-creative process of somatic experiencing, breath, and bodywork to restore alignment and vitality to your female physiology & sensory body. To care for the womb is to care for the whole person.
Sessions
Each session will look different depending on the women's needs and goals. The highest intention of the work is to guide the body back to its intended blueprint with a focus on the midline - the pelvis & the uterus. Keeping in mind that everything is related and connected within the body, we look at the woman’s entire structure to address misalignments and how it may be impacting her pelvis.
We work from the superficial layers of the fascia all the way down to organ level within the abdomen and pelvis, always moving at the pace desired by the body. Tissues are shown how to soften; organs are guided to realign; proper circulation & lymph flow is restored; nerves can regain sensation.
*Internal Vulva/vaginal work will only be considered after at least 2 sessions of "external" work with a clear need and intention.
