We plan on a gradual expansion of our facilities in accordance with our needs, as our use of the Centre continues to change and grow. Right now we’re in Phase 1 of our building project, which is the creation of additional workspace in connection with our Consultorio. This will include an additional wing with a therapy room, a workshop and store for our tinctures and artesan crafts, and a traditional Japanese rock garden. In the front of the Centre, we’ll be building a small reception area, and installing a system of hydrotherapy and mudbaths in the area on the hill just behind it. In Phase 2 of construction, we’ll be creating a separate complex for our School of Healing Arts. By creating this space, we hope to be able to expand our class offerings to the local community, and engage more youth in learning about arts, language, and ecological issues facing this area. This will include the building of a large, open-air palapa, big enough to hold 30 people, and two smaller, enclosed classrooms around a garden/play space. We would also like to furnish these with desks, chalkboards, and art & school supplies for whatever classes we may offer. In Phase 3 of construction, we’re planning on designing and building several small cabanas around the property for guests and students, in addition to a camping area for our more low-tech friends. This will increase sustainable revenue for the Centre, as well as provide an expanded number of places to stay for those wishing treatment, and for individuals looking for a more long-term retreat. If you would like to
