Our Workshops

We offer a space of cultural exchange for the local community where workshops are given for both children and adults. Workshops are directed towards the stimulation of conscious development, alternative education, creativity, ecological awareness, personal growth and movement, our main focus is to create a positive and productive community atmosphere for all. We are fully aware of the healing power of art, for this reason we believe it is a fundamental part of our Healing Centre.

Centro Nijo has been founded on the concept of creating a community space where children and elders share a peaceful, positive and healthy natural environment to live in. This unity is directed towards encouraging respect for culture, traditions and knowledge of the elderly, as well as spreading the vitality and innocence of children, stimulating and supporting their development in every aspect. In turn, a link between the past, the present and future is created, ensuring healthy language, cultural traditions and sense of identity with the community.

We wish to further develop this area of the centre, to be able to offer a wider variety of workshops to enhance the communication within oneself and with the other people, animals, plants and the universe.

Examples include: Yoga Music Dance Theatre Arts and Crafts Health and Nutrition Sports and Martial Arts Languages (Zapotec, Spanish, English) Organic Agriculture (Horticulture, Natural fertilizers, Medicinal Plants etc)

We welcome volunteers who are experienced in teaching workshops, particularly those designed for children. See volunteer program.
