Education is an important aspect of what we offer at Centro Nijo. Our courses and workshops are designed to awaken and develop each student's consciousness of their essential energy, creativity and inner peace. We offer tools for the expansion of healing, empowering individuals with the knowledge of how to heal themselves, as well as how to heal others.

The concept of our courses and workshops is to create an atmosphere of exchange between the local community and students. This interaction stimulates other forms of communication, collaboration and coordination.

THE SACRED MASSAGE DIPLOMA

Aldo Fogazza is offering a Diploma course, divided into 4 modules, to develop the healing power of  hands.  The hands have been used to heal for millenniums.  There is no culture in the world that does not include massage as part of their traditional medicine.

“Since I was young, I was interested in  Martial Arts, where I heard, the words ´energy and balance´ for the first time.  In Martial Arts, your intention is focused on making the opponent lose their balance. 

We are like puppets. You pull one string, push another and all too easily lose orientation, direction and harmony, not only in the body and posture, but in our perception, and in your alignment towards life.

My development includes almost half a century massaging and touching thousands of people from all over, studying with the intent of formulating new techniques. “

Healing with the hands is not only limited to treating the physical body of the patient, it includes harmonizing the energy, emotions and spirit.  For example, using the medicine of certain ´power´ animals, like the deer (from whom we learn balance), the turtle (from whom we learn the art of creation) and the eagle (from whom we learn harmony of our vital energy, and our essence).

This new Diploma in Traditional Massage is a synthesis of my academic knowledge, experience in healing and my path in ‘The Tradition’. I look to help develop our potential as men and women of today, to reunite  the ancestral traditions, with what today is called ‘science’, and to flow in the ´tonal´ without forgetting the ‘nahual’.

The synopsis of this course is:
Module 1 – discover how energy moves, exploring our connection with the Earth, the Sky and their formula of alchemy.
Module 2 – take a look at the spiritual part of healing (the power of prayer, copal, tobacco and stones).  Develop the technique of Chinese Massage.
Module 3 – deepen/develop our knowledge in other massage techniques, focusing on the articulations.
Module 4 – complete the development of the powers of a healer.

MODULE 1
Duration: one weekend

The first module is orientated to the study of North and South, as an energetic manifestation of the central axis of the Earth, for this reason you will learn to massage the head (our bridge to the sky) and the feet (our roots to connect us with ‘Pachamama’ – Mother Earth).

In this module, you will study detailed energy maps, which have been inherited from oriental knowledge.  You will also discover that in reality there is no North and South, nor inside or outside, we are only luminous bubbles that form a luminous body with the universal energy.

MODULE 2
Duration: one week

The second module is homage to the Medicines of the Desert of Wirikuta.
Topics:

• To maintain our Arrow of Intent, pointed towards the development of the healing powers of the hands, offering ourselves to the power of the Sacred (The Great Mystery).
• To offer a ceremonial initiation into the medicine of 3 Power Animals: the Grandmother Turtle, the Deer and the Eagle.
• During the afternoon you will study the meridians and the technique of Traditional Chinese Massage.
• In the morning we will offer healing to the local community, reminding us that the path of a Healer is made Healing.  Hopefully we can discover in ourselves True Healers, Luminous Warriors.

MODULE 3
Duration: one weekend

Deep tissue  neuromuscular massage of the articulations.
