How To Find Us

We are on the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. Centro Nijo is located near the small community of ‘El Zapotal' five minutes from the village of Ventanilla on the road between San Antonio and Mazunte. If you're traveling internationally, the best airport to fly into is Huatulco, or alternately Puerto Escondido. Plane tickets to these places are usually about the same price as flying into a larger airport farther away, such as Oaxaca City, and are less than an hour's drive away from the Centre.

From Puerto Escondido

From Puerto Escondido, take a bus headed east and ask for ‘San Antonio' crossroad, then hop a collective taxi or truck on the road to the right, with signs pointing towards Zipolite, and keep an eye out for Centro Nijo on the left hand side, about 5min drive in total.

From Huatulco

From Huatulco, take a bus going right from the main road, towards Pochutla.

From Pochutla/The rest of Mexico

If you're traveling within Mexico, you'll be able to take a bus into Pochutla, which is the nearest large town. From Pochutla, collective taxis and trucks run about every 15 minutes passing us and then on towards Ventanilla, Mazunte, San Agustinillo and Zipolite. For about $10pesos, you can be dropped off at our main entrance. Alternately, you can take a ‘special' taxi, which loiter in the centre of town, though these will cost more like $100pesos.

From the Coastal Towns (Puerto Angel, Zipolite, San Augustinillo, Mazunte)

If you're already sipping cocos and lounging around on the beaches here, or you're a resident, hop a collective taxi or truck heading west. Pass the turn-off for Ventanilla, and you'll find the entrance to Centro Nijo at a stop on your right side, approximately 2 miles/3 kilometres from Mazunte.
